We are looking for Fusion PPM (Project Portfolio Management) Functional Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Solution Design:
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and objectives regarding project portfolio management.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and pain points to design and configure the optimal Oracle Fusion PPM solution.
• Create detailed functional specifications and work closely with technical consultants to ensure business requirements are met.
• Configuration & Implementation:
• Configure Oracle Fusion PPM modules based on business needs and system requirements.
• Set up Project Financial Management, Project Execution Management, Project Costing, Resource Management, Project Accounting and other relevant PPM modules.
• Manage the setup of project structures, budgets, work plans, timelines, and resources in Oracle Fusion PPM.
• Support the creation of project templates, reports, and dashboards to improve project portfolio visibility and control.
• Testing & Deployment:
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets client needs and expectations.
• Resolve any issues or bugs identified during the testing phase.
• Assist in the migration of data and ensure smooth system integration with other Oracle Cloud modules such as Financials, Procurement, or HRMS.
• Provide post-deployment support to address any issues and ensure the system operates smoothly.
• Client Interaction & Stakeholder Management:
• Engage with clients to gather feedback and provide progress updates throughout the implementation process.
• Provide end-user training and documentation to ensure clients are equipped to use the system effectively.
• Offer expert advice on best practices, workflows, and tools to maximize the efficiency of Oracle Fusion PPM for the clients project management needs.
• Continuous Improvement & Optimization:
• Advise clients on system optimizations to enhance project management processes, including reporting, resource utilization, and portfolio management.
• Stay current on Oracle Fusion PPM updates and new features to recommend improvements and upgrades to clients.
• Proactively identify areas where clients can improve project execution and portfolio management practices using Oracle Fusion PPM.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Oracle Cloud Fusion PPM (or plans to obtain it) is a plus.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) is beneficial.
• Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion PPM or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in functional consulting roles focused on Oracle Fusion PPM, particularly in modules such as Project Financial Management, Project Execution Management, and Resource Management.
• In-depth knowledge of project management processes, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and resource management.
• Experience in working with Oracle Cloud Fusion Finance, Procurement, and other integrated systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics, or similar is beneficial.
• Functional Skills:
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion PPM module functionalities and configurations.
• Ability to map business requirements to Oracle PPM functionalities, configuring the system accordingly.
• Experience in implementing best practices in project management, portfolio management, and resource planning.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed functional documentation, including business process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with client teams, functional consultants, and technical teams.
• Client-focused with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving client issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications:
• Oracle Cloud PPM (Fusion) certification is highly desirable.
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are an advantage.
• Industry Experience:
• Experience in specific industries such as IT, construction, engineering, or financial services where PPM plays a central role.
• Other Skills:
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Ability to integrate Oracle PPM with other modules such as Oracle Financials or Oracle HCM.
• Understanding of Oracle Cloud infrastructure, security features, and best practices.
