Job Overview:
- The Retail Marketing Head will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's retail marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive foot traffic, and improve sales performance across all retail locations.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in consumer behaviour, digital marketing, and traditional retail strategies.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail marketing, leadership, and team management, and will be able to align marketing initiatives with the company's overall business goals.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in retail marketing or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful retail marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Experience with omnichannel marketing and integrating online and offline customer experiences.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in retail marketing techniques, consumer behavior, and sales psychology.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and analytics (Google Analytics, social media platforms, CRM software).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Creative thinking with an eye for detail and problem-solving ability.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in budget management and cost-effective marketing.
- Familiarity with customer loyalty programs, CRM systems, and email marketing tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Food Sector like ITC, Godrej,Reliance retail sector.

- Understanding of customer segmentation and targeting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement retail marketing strategies to enhance brand presence, boost customer engagement, and maximize sales across retail channels (stores, online, etc.).
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor strategies to inform marketing tactics.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and align marketing campaigns with sales objectives.
2. Campaign Management:
- Design and execute in-store and digital campaigns that drive foot traffic, improve customer experience, and encourage repeat business.
- Lead the planning and execution of promotional activities such as sales events, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
- Manage the marketing budget for retail campaigns and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
3. Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all retail channels.
- Oversee the development and distribution of marketing materials (e.g., posters, flyers, digital content) to enhance brand visibility and product offerings.
- Maintain high standards for visual merchandising, store layouts, and product displays to drive customer engagement.
4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Merchandising, Operations) to ensure seamless execution of retail marketing programs.
- Lead and mentor a team of retail marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and career development support.
- Work with the digital marketing team to integrate online and offline retail strategies (e.g., click-and-collect, omnichannel marketing).
5. Data & Performance Analysis:
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and analyze sales data to gauge ROI.
- Utilize analytics tools and customer feedback to optimize future marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on the performance of retail marketing programs.
6. Customer Experience & Engagement:
- Focus on enhancing the in-store customer experience through personalized marketing and loyalty programs.
- Implement strategies to gather customer feedback and use insights to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
- Innovate and test new marketing tactics to engage customers and foster long-term loyalty.
7. Market Research & Trends:
- Stay up to date on retail industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscapes.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential target markets for expansion.
