Roles & Responsibilities

• Floats enquiries for the materials request received from production & Site team , prepare rate comparision & take approval from HOD/MD & release PO to L1.
• Co-ordinate with Site & Vendor on delivery of materials.
• Responsible for getting credit periods from vendors.
• Negotiation has to be done with vendors .
• Delivery Instruction has to be finalised with vendors on lead,lift & unloading .
• Responsible for bringing in new vendors .
• Co ordinate with other team & should be ready to do other task in case of requirement .

Candidate requirements

Proven track record of at least 3 to 8 years in Purchase management, preferably within the plywood or building materials industry.

Strong understanding of the market, including key players, distribution channels, and customer preferences.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a purchase team toward achieving targets.

Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.

Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding purchase goals.
