Site Engineer - Fire and Safety

Responsibilities:

Project Planning

1. Prepare Gantt Chart in co-ordination with clients team

2. Monitor Gantt Chart to match accepted Timelines

Material Planning

1. Planning a phase wise Dispatch of Material in coordination with Project
Co-ordinator and Purchase

2. Providing estimated deadlines for Supply deliveries

3.Material Requisition and tools requisition

Manpower Planning

1. Planning the Manpower requirement on Site

2. Scheduling and Allocating work to approved Manpower

3. Marshalling workforces to their tasks as per Gantt Chart

MIR

1. Verify Material received at Site

2. Get signoff from Client representative on Site against Quality & Qty in alignment with PO

Site Readiness

1. Search for a house/room for accommodation for all Basic Elements Team members close to site.

2. Arrangement of local store and Setting up stores for material, tools and tackles sent to site.

3. Coordinating with client for on daily basis to take work front clearances

4. Daily Attendance check at Site with Safety gear

Submission of Billing Related Documents

1. Submitting the DC and taking a signature from the client

2. Preparing Joint Measurement Sheets according as per work progress along with client signature and stamp after per measurement.

3. Submission of invoice in clients accounts and taking acknowledgement signatures from client
4. Collection documents from client and submission in office for processing NOC

5. Giving training to the clients team on how to use the installed equipment.

6. Handing over of the project.

Client co-ordination

1. Discussing with client about the site conditions and keeping them updated on the work progress.

Reporting and Meetings

1. Attending daily progress update meeting to review progress and bottlenecks in site.

2. Sending new photographs daily to maintain record for Insurance

3. Sending DPR on the work progress for the day.

4. Updating the office team of any changes in site

Work Quality check

1. Inspecting the quality of work done by the workers on a daily basis

2. Checking the PPE kits and Tools on their usable condition

3. Providing safety gear and ensuring All Time wearing of PPE

4. Making sure that all the workers are using the PPE kits provided to them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or Fire Engineering
• Should have good knowledge of Drawings
• Should have a minimum 2 years of experience in the fire safety industry
• Good Communication Skills

• Willingness to work at Outstation (Please do not Apply if you do not want to travel to Work Site)
