Autocad Designer - Fresher or Experienced

AutoCAD design engineer generate fabrication, solid and surface 2D Designs as per the requirements using AutoCAD software.

Role & responsibilities

1. Designing of Oil cooled Power Transformers range of Up to 50 MVA 11kV & 132kV.

2. Designing of Star-rated energy-efficient Transformers as per standards.

3. Calculation & Drawing of Power transformer, Furnace Transformers, Distribution Transformer & Sub Merged arc furnace transformers up to 132 KV Class, 50 MVA Transformers.

4. Interacting with Customers for technical clarification in order to process the inquiries and orders to be executed.

5. Preparation of Bill of Materials with Engineering Sketch and Layouts for Production and Purchase.

6. Making the manufacturing drawings of each part of the Transformer as per the Customer requirement.

7. Achievement of Department Quality objectives like Cost reduction etc.

8. Capability of doing the Internal Assembly and Design Calculations independently.

9. To extend the Support for the Team and production related issues.

10. Ensuring product designs meet required safety and structural standards.

11. Preparation of Fabrication Drawings Tank, Frame, Top cover, LV & HV Duct And Core Clamp etc.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 1 -6 years of experience working in mechanical design for the power transformer manufacturing industry according to international standards such as IEC, DIN, IEEE, and EN.

2. Candidates with more experience may also be considered.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.

4. The ability to communicate and collaborate with technical teams in different parts of the world.

5. A quick learner with the ability to master new areas.

6. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
