We cater to the growing need of the high net worth investors (individuals, family offices and institutions) all over the world to invest in the Indian capital markets. Expertise, accountability and transparency are the hallmarks of the firm.

The portfolio managers have a combined experience of over 50 years in the capital markets and over 30 years in managing funds and this expertise has been developed over multiple business cycles since 1991. As of May 2024, the firm manages over Rs 450 crores in its PMS strategies and advises on another Rs. 400+ crores of assets.

Job Description :

We are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Operations leader. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects, including managing compliance, fund management, clients' account audits, SEBI internal audits and general operational efficiency. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

- Supervise trade execution & EOD bifurcations/allocations and settlements

- Manage fund operations, including fund accounting, settlements, and reconciliations

- Manage liaison with brokers, custodians and banks for PMS operations

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory rules, regulations, and standards

- Manage the process of audit of client accounts and internal audit as per SEBI's PMS Regulations

- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational performance

- Monitor and manage risk associated with operational activities

- Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals

- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices

Qualifications :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) /MBA finance

- 5 to 10 years of experience in operations within the financial services industry, preferably in PMS, Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Mutual Funds, or banks

- Additional qualifications such as Company Secretary (CS) or a law degree would be advantageous

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Problem solving orientation and a "can-do" attitude

- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and developing teams

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset

- Deep commitment to operational excellence

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with operational processes specific to PMS, AIF or Mutual Funds

- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards

- Familiarity with financial software and systems

- Proven ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
