Job Description
- Ability to lead, improve upon and create processes required for effective Middleware Application Administration.
- Triage, Configure, Install, Update & Troubleshoot WebLogic (10.x. 11.x and 12.x)/ WebSphere/ Tomcat/ JBoss Application Servers and Apache web server in Java Linux platform
- Vast Experience in applying Patches to above products and triaging
- Experience on transaction and performance monitoring tools such as Introscope, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk etc.
- Experience and exposure in TDI (Template driven infrastructure), Ansible and cloud architecture.
- Experience with monitoring the JVM and performance tuning
- Experience with SSL Certificate management
- Responsible for support of JDBC connectivity to different Database Layers
- Must be proficient in Linux environment
- Good to have experience with scripting (python, shell)
- Assist managing vendor support tickets and be able work with a team to triage and resolve urgent application issues.
- Experience with on-call support for the production environment
- Flexibility to cover various work schedules
- Responsibilities
- Must have 7-8 years Middleware Administrator experience and very good knowledge of Weblogic, Tomcat, Websphere, & Apache webserver products.
- Considerable knowledge of incident, change and release management principles, procedures and techniques.
- Demonstrate technical aptitude and ability to think and solve problems creatively.
- Must implement and support best practices and tools
- Exhibits ownership and accountability to drive projects by working collaboratively with global teams
- Requirements
- Education: B. E, B. Tech, MCA
- Certifications If Any
- ITIL Foundation Qualified (Certified Preferred)Cloud/ Tomcat / Weblogic Certification (desired)
- Experience Range: 6 to 8 Years
- Foundational skills
- Apache, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat and AppDynamics/ Dynatrace
- Desired skills
- Excellent written and spoken English and presentation skills
- Proficient troubleshooting skills.
- Must be a team player and ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with others.
