Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics of moving materials and finished goods between factories and branches, ensuring smooth and cost-effective distribution.
Reporting and Analytics:
KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment, providing regular reports to the COO.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions about production and inventory strategies.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Sales and Operations Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Business Analytics teams to ensure that production and inventory plans align with market demands and sales strategies.
Cost Management: Work with the Finance team to manage production and inventory costs, ensuring that operations stay within budget while meeting business objectives.
Quality Assurance: Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that production processes meet BWMs quality standards.
Team Leadership:
Team Management: Lead and develop the PPIC team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the PPIC team.
Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (eg, CPIM, CSCP) are preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain management, with a strong background in manufacturing environments.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in production scheduling, inventory control, and ERP/MRP systems, with a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on process optimization and operational excellence.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the wire mesh industry or related sectors, with an understanding of the specific challenges in production and inventory management within these environments.
