AI/ML Research Developer - Research and Development Team

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Research Developer to design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms, Generative AI, back testing frameworks, and real-time trading systems. In this role, you will work with large-scale financial datasets to build and optimize machine learning models that enhance trading strategy performance. You will also develop a robust backtesting environment and work with real-time decision-making in financial markets. This is a fully remote role offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI/ML financial market applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Research & Development of Pattern Detection Algorithms

• Design and implement advanced AI/ML-based pattern detection algorithms for financial market analysis.
• Optimize detection techniques for trading patterns such as Bullish Flag, Double Bottom, and other technical indicators.

2. Backtesting and Strategy Validation

• Develop and maintain a robust backtesting framework to validate the effectiveness of trading strategies.
• Analyze historical market data to assess model performance and optimize trading signals.

3. Real-Time Data Processing & Signal Generation

• Work with large-scale financial datasets to extract meaningful insights and generate real-time trading signals.
• Integrate and process real-time data streams from Binance and other sources using Kafka or similar technologies.
• Develop scalable solutions for efficient execution of trading signals.

4. AI/ML Model Development & Optimization

• Build and fine-tune machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Implement and optimize time-series analysis models for financial forecasting.

5. Software Development & Integration

• Develop high-performance financial analytics tools using Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
• Work with REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud-based solutions for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Ensure smooth integration of AI/ML models into trading platforms.

6. Collaboration & Innovation

• Work closely with ML Engineers, quantitative analysts, and developers to align research objectives with business goals.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and financial markets to introduce innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
• Strong academic background in machine learning, data analytics, quantitative modeling, and financial market analysis.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AI/ML model development using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience in time-series analysis, financial forecasting, and backtesting models
• Expertise in real-time data processing using tools like Kafka, and working with largescale financial datasets.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Familiarity with financial market analysis, technical indicators, and algorithmic trading strategies.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) for data processing.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Generative AI techniques
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and distributed systems for scalable data processing.
• Background in quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, or financial engineering.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex
  ideas clearly.
