Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Employee is responsible for attending and carry out all kind of Suppliers GST (Surveyor, Investigators, Repairers and Compliance requirements related to Non-Motor Claims Department, including Represent department on various forums, Data Providing, Data Extractions, Logics building, Process Demo, Conforming to compliance, take corrective and preventive action on deviations related to GST reconciliation of Non-Motor Claims Department and other occasional requirements etc.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

GST Compliance of Non-Motor Claims Department

Take care of below mentioned Type of GST compliance through the financial year

  • Non-Motor claims Supplier GST Reconciliations
  • GST Compliance

Activities which need to be complete

  • Participate in GST and TAX Meetings and discussions.
  • Understand the Requirements and accordingly plan for those requirements.
  • Determine Scope and the extent and range of the GST activities and the period (months or years)
  • Provide Access to facilities evidential martial as request by Accounts and GST team
  • Determine and initiate corrective action basis on TAX / GST Report / Findings.
  • Guide and direct the team in efficiently completing activities within time.

Formulation GST Reconciliation

  • Follow ups and Send Reminders: Issue reminders to the non-filers via email, telephonic calls, or other communication channels, informing them of the pending returns and the consequences of non-compliance.
  • Gather Required Documents: Collect all necessary documents and information, such as service invoices.
  • Reconcile Accounts: Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled with the BAGIC accounting records.
  • Rectify Errors: If there are any errors or discrepancies in the documents or records, rectify them promptly by amendments or revised transactions claims level entry.
  • Maintain Records: Keep all records and documents related to mismatch and codetections as required for Audit and Record retention purpose.
  • Regular Follow-Up : Continuously monitor and follow up with the service provider to ensure timely compliance in future periods.
  • Standardize Processes - SOP Creations: Develop standardized procedures for compliance tasks. This includes checklists, templates, and workflows that can be reused across different service providers, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Regular Reviews: Conduct regular internal reviews to ensure that compliance requirements are being met. This helps in identifying any gaps or issues early on.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication with service providers and suppliers. Provide them with updates on their compliance status and any actions they need to take.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide training and information to service providers and suppliers to ensure that concern team is well-trained on compliance requirements and best practices. Regular training sessions can help keep everyone updated on the latest regulations and standards.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Keep detailed records of all compliance activities, including communications, filings, and audits. This documentation is crucial for demonstrating compliance during internal and external audits.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Commerce Graduation/Post Graduation in Mathematics /Analytics / Information Technology and like.
  • Excellent Data Analytics and Presentation Skills (Excel and SAP BI)
  • Around 5-7 years of Experience Data / Analytics and Reconciliation or related operations.
  • 2-3 years of Work Experience in Insurance domain with basic insurance understandings.
