Job Overview:
The Infinity Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding the business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring successful implementation of the Infinity solutions. The role involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, and the development team to ensure that the solutions meet business needs and align with strategic goals.
This role would require ability to travel to Client locations on short term assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering:
Conduct workshops and interviews with business users to gather and document business requirements.
To work closely with the UI UX teams on the finalization of App screens.
Analyze and validate requirements to ensure completeness and consistency.
Participate in the requirements phase and liaise with business users to gather requirements.
2. Solution Design:
Develop functional specifications, use cases, and process flows based on the gathered requirements.
Collaborate with the technical team to design solutions that meet business needs.
Ensure that the proposed solutions align with Infinity capabilities and best practices.
Draft functional specifications documents (User stories or Use Case format).
Identify potential gaps in the requirements and communicate with respective stakeholders to resolve them.
3. Implementation Support:
Provide functional expertise during the implementation phase.
Assist in configuring and customizing Infinity to meet business requirements.
Conduct functional testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Review test cases prepared by the QA team and perform functional or unit testing of the applications.
4. Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact between business users and the technical team.
Facilitate communication and ensure that all stakeholders are informed about project progress and any changes in requirements.
5. Documentation and Training:
Prepare detailed Requirement documentation (BRD), functional specifications (FSD), Functional unit test cases and user manuals.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide post-implementation support.
6. Problem Solving:
Analyze and resolve issues that arise during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
Provide proactive solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
Analyze changes proposed by the business team and perform necessary impact analysis.
7. Tool Expertise:
Expertise in handling JIRA (Risk analysis, CR log, Conflict management).
Knowledge of Microsoft application such as (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
8. Process Improvement:
Work individually and as a team on improvements via knowledge sharing, experience, and other learning channels.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or MBA in Business, Banking, or a related field.
Experience as Business Analyst in all the applications within the Temenos Infinity suite of products.
Proven training in Business Process Modelling is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and team skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
TLC certification would be an added advantage.
Experience in implementing Infinity solutions in APAC regions would be preferable.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Understanding of banking operations and regulatory requirements.Role & responsibilities
