ASP.NET MVC Developer

We are looking for a skilled ASP.NET MVC Developer to join our development team. As an ASP.NET MVC Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance web applications using the ASP.NET MVC framework. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of seamless and efficient applications that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC framework, C#, and .NET technologies.
• Database Integration: Work with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or similar) to design, query, and optimize the back-end components of the application.
• API Development: Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services to interact with front-end applications and other services.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues to enhance the performance, scalability, and security of the application.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests, debug issues, and ensure the application is free of bugs and defects. Conduct thorough testing to ensure application functionality and quality.
• Code Quality & Version Control: Follow coding standards and best practices to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. Use Git or similar version control tools for source code management.
• Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications, ensuring bug fixes, updates, and new features are implemented as required.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for the codebase, APIs, and application logic to ensure knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.
• Collaboration: Work in an Agile environment, collaborating with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Security: Implement security best practices to protect the application and user data from vulnerabilities and threats.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in web development using ASP.NET MVC, C#, and the .NET framework.
• Framework Knowledge: Proficiency in the ASP.NET MVC framework, Razor, and Web API development.
• Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of C# and HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Database Skills: Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including writing optimized SQL queries.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or similar version control systems.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile software development environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with back-end frameworks like Asp MVC and spring boot.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS for application deployment.
• Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM frameworks.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
