Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer with strong expertise in interior specifications to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing the installation of MEP systems within building projects, ensuring seamless integration with interior designs. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective MEP solutions for hotel and construction industry projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing MEP Systems: Develop comprehensive plans for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that meet the projects requirements and address any specific issues.

System Installation: Supervise the installation of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and the integration with the overall building design.

Maintenance & Optimization: Oversee the regular maintenance of MEP systems, ensuring they are functioning efficiently and effectively throughout their lifespan.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems with interior and building designs.

Inspection & Compliance: Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to ensure they meet building code standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with evolving industry regulations and ensure all systems comply with local and international standards.

Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP systems and manage budgets to ensure the project stays within financial constraints.

Project Management: Lead the project management efforts to ensure that MEP systems are designed and installed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.

Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and guidance to contractors, supervisors, and inspectors regarding the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.

Health & Safety Management: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on-site to ensure safe and compliant installation of MEP systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Specific Skills:

In-depth knowledge of MIVAN technology (formwork system) and MSB (Main Switchboard) installation.

Expertise in MEP systems integration with interior design specifications.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EEE) or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Professional Experience:

10 to 15 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on the hotel and construction industries.

Proven experience in overseeing large-scale construction projects, particularly in the hotel industry, with an emphasis on MEP systems.

Additional Requirements:

Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations. Excellent project management and coordination skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with interior design integration for MEP systems. Certification in project management or related fields is a plus.Role & responsibilities
