Qa Test Lead

Position Overview:

We're looking for an energetic and problem solver QA Lead to join our Product Team at Axis Direct. As a QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our mobile app, APIs, and website. We're not just looking for someone with technical prowess; we want a visionary who can infuse creativity into the world of quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership: -

Lead and inspire the QA team to achieve new heights in quality assurance. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. - Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate cutting-edge testing methodologies.

2. Test Strategy and Planning: -

Develop and implement robust test strategies for mobile applications, APIs, and website functionalities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing criteria and scope for each release.

3. Execution and Automation: -

Oversee the execution of test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage across platforms. - Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in testing processes.

4. Bug Advocacy: - Be the advocate for quality within the development process. - Collaborate closely with development teams to address and resolve issues promptly.

5. Continuous Improvement: - Identify areas for improvement in the QA process and implement innovative solutions. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the QA team.

Qualifications:

1. Technical Proficiency: -

Solid background in QA with expertise in testing mobile applications, APIs, and websites. - Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks - Experience on automation testing and tools -Jira, MS Azure etc. good to have

2. Leadership Skills: -

Proven experience in leading and mentoring QA teams.

- Ability to inspire and drive a culture of excellence.

3. Communication: -

Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

4. Innovative Thinking: -

Creative problem-solving skills. - Proactive in identifying and implementing new testing approaches.

5. Preferred Candidate Profile:

Strong leadership qualities, extensive knowledge of both manual and automation testing, and a solid understanding of market trends to drive the success of our projects.

Education and Experience:

1) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

2) 3+ years of experience in QA, with a focus on mobile, API, and website testing.

3) Working experience on trading systems/ platforms.

4) Working experience with TCS is an added advantage.
