JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist with hands-on expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Generative AI (GenAI), Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

The ideal candidate will drive innovation, lead AI-driven projects, and contribute to cutting-edge advancements in AI-powered applications.

This role involves leading a team of data scientists, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering AI-driven solutions to solve real-world problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Lead the development and deployment of LLM-powered AI solutions, including fine-tuning and optimizing large-scale models for real-world applications.

- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures to enhance information retrieval and response accuracy.

- Develop and apply Generative AI techniques to create state-of-the-art models for text generation, summarization, and chatbot applications.

- Build and optimize Machine Learning (ML) models for predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and data-driven decision-making.

- Drive research and development in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including Named Entity Recognition (NER), Sentiment Analysis, and Text Classification.

- Work with multi-modal AI models that integrate text, image, and structured data for advanced AI applications.

- Architect, train, and deploy AI models in cloud-based or on-premise environments using technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and product teams to integrate AI models into production systems.

- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and NLP and recommend strategies to incorporate cutting-edge techniques into company projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, and deep learning, with a strong track record of deploying models in production.

- Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, BERT, T5, LLaMA, etc.) and fine-tuning transformer-based models.

- Proficiency in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and experience integrating retrieval mechanisms with generative models.

- Strong programming skills in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.

- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar) for model deployment and monitoring.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong background in vector databases (e., FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone) and their application in AI search and recommendation systems.

- Experience in developing and optimizing NLP pipelines for tokenization, embeddings, and text analytics.

- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Estimated Pay Range: Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
