Instrumentation Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and motivated PLC/SCADA & Instrumentation Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a B. Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics/Instrument Engineering and possess a strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and Process Field instruments. The candidate should also be proficient in reading and interpreting P&ID and technical documents. This role involves designing, programming, and maintaining PLC/SCADA & Instrumentation systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation of industrial processes. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and implement PLC and SCADA systems for various industrial automation projects.

• Program PLCs using languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagrams.

• Configure and troubleshoot SCADA systems to ensure accurate data acquisition and control.

• Integrate process instruments and sensors with PLC/SCADA systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet specifications.

• Read and interpret P&ID and technical documents to design control systems.

• Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to PLC/SCADA & Instrumentation systems.

• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to existing control systems.
