What You ll Do:
- Manage a team of quality engineers who are dedicated to agile teams. Responsible for their performance reviews including mentoring and coaching
- Establish and standardize QA procedures and policies across all the agile teams
- Responsible for ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet the quality and reliability standards
- Review and establish metrics for assessing software quality and evaluate results for continuous improvement
- Research and implements new or improved testing methods, processes, tools, and systems and develops and coordinates appropriate test procedures.
- Thought leader for quality principles and processes in the design, development, testing, and delivery of applications.
- Is an Expert at various QA automation tools and technologies
- Drive the QA automation effort across the enterprise while reducing manual QA to a minimum
- Will be responsible for identifying and bringing in right tools from the market as per project needs to support establish the Automation Initiative, and to make it successful within the forecast.
- Provide detailed status updates of all active projects, including overall product quality, outstanding product difficulties and milestones achieved.
- Ensure that business requirements for each project are verified with business users, project managers, and developers.
- Create strong collaborative team environment.
- Recruit, develop and retain staff, partnering with Senior Management, Recruiting and Human Resources. This includes on-boarding and orientation for new hires.

- Bachelors degree in engineering
- 5 years experience in managing QA teams including at offshore location
