Role: Electronics Test Engineer / Test & Measurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and Characterization: Perform tests on electronic components, circuits, and systems using various test equipment like spectrum analyzers, LCR testers, oscilloscopes, EMI/EMC testers, and other measurement devices.
• Troubleshooting: Use equipment like the mixed signal oscilloscope and arbitrary waveform signal generator to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electronic designs or products.
• Product Validation: Conduct product validation and verification testing to ensure compliance with industry standards for safety, performance, and electromagnetic interference (EMI/EMC).
• Test Development: Develop test procedures and documentation to ensure the consistency and reliability of test results.
• Measurement & Calibration: Work with LCR meters and other testers to measure component values and ensure the calibration of test equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Assist in quality control processes to identify and address product defects or inconsistencies before final production.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with the following instruments:
• Spectrum Analyzer Ability to measure frequency responses, interference, and signals in the RF range.
• LCR Tester and LCR Meter – Experience with measuring inductance, capacitance, and resistance for component testing.
• Mixed Signal Oscilloscope – Proficiency in capturing and analyzing both analog and digital signals.
• EMI/EMC Tester – Experience in testing products for electromagnetic compatibility and interference.
• Hypot Tester – Experience with high voltage testing for insulation and safety checks.
• Arbitrary Waveform Signal Generator – Creating custom signal patterns for testing various electronics and circuits.
• Strong knowledge of circuit design and testing methodologies.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and analyze issues related to product performance.
• Good understanding of electronic components and how they interact within circuits.
• Experience in compliance testing and working with international standards for electronics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an R&D or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with automated testing systems and data analysis software (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB).
