Head - UI Development

We are looking for an accomplished, ambitious individual to take on the pivotal role of Head of UI development. As the Head of UI, you will lead our team in crafting and delivering exceptional user interfaces for multiple SaaS products for SMB segments as well as Browser + mobile applications for Enterprise segment. This position demands a unique combination of technical expertise and effective leadership skills to drive excellence in UI development.

Overall, Role Description:

As the Head of UI, your responsibilities will include spearheading the UI development process, refining process standards, optimizing workflows, and enhancing performance efficiencies. (We use Java, HTML-5, CSS-3, JS, React) You will foster a culture of growth and excellence within the UI development team through effective management and mentorship. Additionally, you will innovate and elevate UI development practices by leveraging DevOps infrastructure, ensuring alignment with evolving cloud security protocols, and staying abreast of advancements in UI DevOps and testing methodologies. Collaboration across departments is essential, engaging with product managers, UX designers, developers, and stakeholders, both internal and external.

The Head of UI Development will lead a team in crafting intuitive, innovative user interfaces for the Jodo World Framework. With a focus on AI integration, you will ensure that user experience remains central to the products success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the end-to-end UI development lifecycle, leveraging tools like Java, React, HTML-5, and CSS-3.
2. Foster innovation by incorporating AI-driven design elements into UI workflows.
3. Lead and mentor a UI team, creating a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
4. Ensure alignment of UI strategies with broader product objectives.
5. Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends to maintain competitive excellence.

Essential Experience/Skills

• Education: Engineering or Science graduate.
• Strong command of front-end technologies and design frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience, managing UI/UX development teams.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex design challenges.

Desirable Experience/Skills

• Experience incorporating AI/ML into UI/UX designs.
• Understanding of cloud-based SaaS products and digital workplace solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies.
