Position Summary:

SPM will be responsible for implementing projects in the state, tracking metrics, collecting feedback from teachers, students, other stakeholders and supporting the overall functioning of Operations. She/he will report to Head of Program-North

Key responsibilities:

1. Govt Liasoning: Working closely with State Govt & hold meeting with Govt officials and POCs on regular basis

a. Provide updates about the program implementation and mutually decide the deliverables

b. Provide updates on the progress & achievements made against deliverables

c. Share deviations if any and discuss ways to address the challenges

d. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the State officials, district officials, school principals, teachers and students

2. Program Monitoring: Travel extensively across different districts in Punjab to monitor the project.

a. Manage on-field implementation of program in the schools

b. Work closely with school principals to ensure smooth program implementation

c. Track program deliverables and ensure achievement of desirable outcomes as per given timelines

d. Actively track engagement and learning metrics to ensure students are on track to achieve their learning outcomes

3. Provide on-field support to students and teachers

a. Work in close coordination with Govt School teachers, Avanti Teachers and Head of Program-North

b. Be the part of multiple WhatsApp groups of assigned schools and engage with students for online/offline learning

c. Regular field visits (School visits) for observation and implementation of the project

4. Organize Training & Workshops at district/state Level: Organize periodic trainings as per the requirements of the project and manage end-to-end operational, logistical and academic coordination for successful and effective

5. Feedback: Set up feedback mechanisms with teachers and students and collect feedback to gauge success and suggest improvements

6. Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of all stages of the project and share regular updates/reports with Head of Program-North, Government and other stakeholders

a. Share Monthly Progress Reports

b. Present monthly updates to the Organization & Government

c. Capture success stories and learning of the program and document

d. Document case stories from the field and share in periodic updates to the Organization \ Government.

Requirements:

Education: BSc./MSc./ B.Tech/B.E/MA or equivalent required

Experience: At least 4 year of work experience (Preferred in development sector)
