Accountant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team in India. This role will be pivotal in managing accounting and compliance duties for our Indian entity while also supporting the Australian and USA entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly financial reports to the Head Office.
• Manage local Indian compliance, including tax filing and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for various financial processes.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Support accounting and financial activities for Australian and USA entities as needed.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) or progress toward one is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in a shared services or multinational setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across different time zones.
