Accountant

The Global Accounting team at Avalara is seeking an Accountant. Reporting to the Global Accounting Manager, this individual will be responsible for participating in the month-end close for global operations and will be a critical part of the Global Accounting team based in India that will support accounting functions across Avalaras global operations. They will be responsible for tasks such as reconciling accounts, preparing various journal entries and reports, researching variances, performing account analysis, maintaining accounting system data, and communicating with other teams. This individual is expected to generally work during UK hours (2 pm to 11 pm IST) and beyond that as needed.

Job Location : Pune

Please note: It is not a remote job.

Also, US GAAP experience is Must.
