MERCHANDISER
Educational Background: A bachelors degree in fashion merchandising, textiles, business, or a related field is typically required.

  • Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the fashion and garment industry, including textile materials, production processes, and market trends.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and ensure cost-effective production.
  • Client Communication: Establish and maintain strong communication with clients to understand their specific garment requirements, including design, quantity, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Order Processing: Coordinate the processing of garment orders, including order confirmation, payment processing, and ensuring that all necessary details are documented accurately.
  • Supplier Management: Identify and collaborate with appropriate suppliers, including fabric providers, manufacturers, and subcontractors, to source materials and ensure timely production.
  • Production Planning: Create and manage production schedules to meet order deadlines. Monitor progress and address any production delays or quality issues.
  • Quality Control: Implement stringent quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that garments meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS - GARMENTS

  • Any degree with min 1-2 years experience in supervising garment line production.
  • Responsible for receiving and accounting for inputs like trims and accessories and ensuring the quality and quantity of same.
  • Hourly production monitoring.
  • Clearing reworks of Garments on an hourly basis.
  • Motivate employees to increase output in their respective lines.
  • Manage the grievances, leave, and absenteeism in their respective lines.
  • Knowledge of Hindi & Assamese will be preferred.
  • Male candidates preferred.
  • Starting salary will be from 17k






QUALITY CONTROLLERS – GARMENTS

  • They are responsible for controlling the sewing lines without any defects in the final product.
  • They must make inline inspection reports/Process control reports at regular intervals.
  • They must explain and debrief the end line checkers every day at the start of the shift and ensure throughout the day till the shift closes for the same.
  • They need to coordinate with the production supervisor and ensure that there is nothing missing from the operation.
  • Qualification – Any diploma /degree related to Textile & Male candidates preferred.
  • Experience 0-3 years
  • Starting salary will be from 17k


CAD / PARRERN TECHNICIAN

  • analyzing design concepts
  • creating digital patterns
  • grading patterns for different sizes

  • ensuring the final design meets quality standards
  • creating technical packs, which include detailed instructions on how to produce the garment
  • maintaining accurate records of all designs and patterns.
  • Qualification – Diploma /degree related to Fashion designing Textile
  • Experience 0-3 years
  • Create patterns for garments using pattern making software’s or by hand from sketches provided by fashion designers or product requirements. Create patterns for different sizes, styles, and components of the garments.
  • Inspecting and testing products, parts and materials for conformity with specifications and standards; discarding or rejecting products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
  • Perform process control to wearing apparel products in order to assure mass production in an uninterrupted production manner. Control processes to ensure that processes are predictable, stable and consistent.
  • Make technical drawings of wearing apparel, leather goods and footwear including both technical and engineering drawings. Use them to communicate or to convey design ideas and manufacturing details to pattern makers, technologists, toolmakers, and equipment producers or to other machine operators for sampling and production.
  • Grading patterns by performing processes of resizing initial patterns in order to create nest of patterns to fit various body types and sizes.
  • Operate electronic or computerized control panels to monitor and optimize processes, and to control process start-up and shut-downs. Monitor and inspect equipment and systems to detect malfunctions.
  • Draw sketches to develop textile articles using softwares: Draw sketches to develop textiles or wearing apparel using software’s. They create visualizations of the motives, patterns or products in order to be manufactured.
  • Prepare early models or prototypes in order to test concepts and replicability possibilities. Create prototypes to assess for pre-production tests.
  • The processes used to fabricate wearing apparel and the different technologies and machinery involved in the manufacturing processes.


  • Manufacturing processes in wearing apparel and made-up textiles. Different technologies and machinery involved in the manufacturing processes.


  • Marker diagram of a precise arrangement of pattern pieces for a specific style and the sizes to be cut from a single spread. Markers can be made by manually tracing master patterns onto the fabric or paper or by manipulating and plotting computerized pattern images. Process of determining the most efficient layout of pattern pieces for a specified style, fabric and distribution of sizes.


  • The principles and usage of technologies for 3D body scanning used to capture the size and shape of the human body.


  • Traditional and advanced apparel manufacturing technologies. Technologies including processes, machinery, etc. in order to compile and design pattern requirements, contribute to product costing and finalize assembly sequence and quality assurance criteria.


  • Costumes and the cultural traditions around clothing.


  • Software’s of computer aided design for garment manufacturing which allow create 2 or 3 dimensional drawings.


  • Standard sizing systems for clothing developed by different countries. Differences among the systems and standards of different countries, the development of the systems according to the evolution of the shape of the human body and their usage in the clothing industry.


Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades
  • Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications and related information
  • Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste


Responsibilities

  • Design control systems to minimize costs and production issues
  • Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel
  • Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses and estimated production costs
  • Design the layout of facilities and determine personnel requirements
  • Train staff for new processes and provide instructions and manuals


Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as an Industrial Engineer or similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes and standards
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Troubleshooting expertise and attention to detail
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
