Automotive Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for Shop Floor Supervisor to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- As a shop floor supervisor, your role is to oversee and coordinate the activities of workers on the shop floor or production floor of a manufacturing or industrial facility
- Your main responsibilities include ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment
- Here are some key responsibilities and tasks of a shop floor supervisor:Production coordination:
- You will coordinate and oversee the daily production activities on the shop floor
- This involves planning and organizing work schedules, assigning tasks to workers, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of production targets
- Quality control: You will enforce quality control measures and standards to ensure that products meet specified quality criteria
- This includes conducting regular inspections, implementing quality control procedures, and addressing any quality issues that arise
- Workflow optimization: You will analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency
- This may involve streamlining workflows, eliminating bottlenecks, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to optimize productivity
- Training and supervision: You will provide training and guidance to shop floor workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively
- You will also supervise their work, provide feedback, and address any performance or disciplinary issues that arise
- Safety compliance: You will enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment on the shop floor
- This includes conducting safety inspections, implementing safety training programs, and addressing any safety concerns or incidents promptly
