Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and automate tests for validation on Selenium Tool.
• Debugging and executing Automation test cases, sending the report if needed, taking conclusive actions on it.
• Understand existing automation framework and contribute towards improving it. e.g. (for better performance, better structuring of components)
• Contribute towards writing new automation framework /modify existing.
• Collaborate in productive manner with other team members.Review the automation scripts/ Manual test cases.
• Contribute to product and process improvements and refinement of QA practices.

Technical Skills:

• Good in Object Oriented concepts and java /TypeScript skills.
• Selenium Expertise is mandatory.
• Excellent coding skills and should also be able to adopt with new tools and technology.
• Good knowledge of different automation frameworks.
• Good knowledge and experience of RDBMS.
• Good knowledge of testing life cycle, defect reporting and tracking.
• Good knowledge of TFS or similar CM tool for automation code base.
• Should have experience of handling CI/CD pipeline, TeamCity.
• Experience in identifying and writing manual test cases.
• Experience with functional, integration, performance and regression, system testing cycles.
• Added advantage - Hands - on experience on playwright.
• Good experience in DataDriven testing

Qualification:

• Graduate from IT/Computers stream
• Graduate from any other stream with Professional course in Software Testing

(ISTQB certified will be an added advantage)
