Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer proficient in Python (Object Oriented) and Robot Framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in automating REST APIs specifically for Storage and Backup & Recovery applications. This role demands strong skills in Dockerized & Linux environments, coupled with a deep understanding of GIT/BitBucket for code versioning. As part of our Agile/SCRUM team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Strong communication skills, creativity, and a proactive approach are essential to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs using Python and Robot Framework.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of automation processes for our SaaS-based applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance.
• Implement and maintain code repositories using GIT/BitBucket.
• Work in a Dockerized & Linux environment to deploy and manage automation frameworks.
• Participate actively in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to team goals.
• Generate comprehensive reports and documentation for test activities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in automating REST APIs with Python (Object Oriented) & Robot Framework.
• Strong proficiency in GIT/BitBucket for version control.
• Practical experience with Dockerized & Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and collaborative tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Storage and Backup & Recovery applications.
• Knowledge of other automation tools and frameworks (excluding Selenium).
