Job Description
The Opportunity
Nutanix is currently seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in Bangalore, India. As a SDET your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the quality of software we create. You will be qualifying Nutanix products from a functionality and scale perspective, and making sure that they meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
A keen ability to break the system to its limits is essential to success in this role. We are looking for professionals who have experience with testing and test automation development, preferably in a digital and cloud-focused environment.
About the Team
Nutanix Cloud Manager team delivers a multi-cloud application management framework. It provides application automation and lifecycle management natively integrated into the Nutanix Platform. We are a driven & passionate team of engineering with a desire to disrupt the current state of multi-cloud application management. We are looking to expand our team to include additional A-players who are looking to bring simplicity and efficiency to a complicated world.
Your Role
As the gatekeeper of our product quality, you would be required to ensure that product releases adhere to the highest quality norms. You will design and develop a testing framework for our products and be part of a ruthless quality team. You will develop test tools, test cases, maintain test beds, and provide metrics and test/quality status.
What You Will Bring
- You are a self-starter who can flourish in a fast-paced technology environment.
- You have an overall 2-5 years experience with relevant hands-on work experience in building/designing automation framework & testing tools.
- Strong Coding skills (DS, Algos).
- Strong systems background (Linux systems with exposure to Process, Memory and IO Management tools.
- Have expertise with automation and building tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Locust and Jenkins.
- Have expertise in scripting languages like Python, PERL, PHP.
