Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Editor to join our creative team in Chennai. This is a creative role focused on video editing, motion graphics, and post-production, with a strong emphasis on branding. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a digital marketing agency environment, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating visually compelling content that enhances brand storytelling. You will work closely with the team to transform raw footage into engaging videos that align with brand identities, ensuring high-quality visual content across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit video content from raw footage to deliver polished, branded content that aligns with client branding guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Motion Graphics & Animation: Create and integrate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to elevate the brand’s narrative and engage audiences.
• Branding Focus: Ensure all edited content adheres to the client’s brand identity, including style, tone, and visual aesthetics, enhancing brand recognition through video.
• Post-Production: Handle all aspects of post-production, including color correction, audio mixing, visual effects, and integrating motion graphics to enhance the visual appeal of videos.
• Platform Optimization: Edit and optimize videos for digital platforms (social media, websites, ads) by adhering to specific platform requirements for format, resolution, and file size.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team, designers, and brand strategists to ensure that all edited content accurately reflects the brand's messaging and meets client goals.
• Maintain Technical Standards: Ensure high technical standards in every project, including sound, visual quality, and consistency in branding across various media.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality.
• Stay Updated with Trends: Stay current with editing trends, tools, techniques, and motion graphics innovations to keep content fresh and aligned with modern digital marketing standards.
• Creative Problem-Solving: Find creative solutions to overcome editing challenges while maintaining the integrity of the brand message.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience: 3-7 years of editing experience, ideally in an agency setting, working with digital marketing campaigns and branding projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in video editing software and motion graphics tools, including:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Final Cut Pro (FCP)
• Adobe After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve (optional)
• Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom (for image correction)
• Adobe Illustrator (for basic motion graphics)
• Branding Knowledge: Deep understanding of branding principles and how to incorporate brand identity and messaging into visual content.
• Creative Vision: Ability to interpret brand guidelines and creative briefs to produce content that enhances brand perception and resonates with the target audience.
• Post-Production Mastery: Skilled in color grading, sound design, visual effects, and motion graphics to create polished final videos.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality content that aligns with brand standards.
• Adaptability: Ability to work on various types of content, from short-form social media videos to long-form branded content, while maintaining consistency in branding.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with the creative team, clients, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with 3D motion graphics and advanced animation techniques.
• Experience with video SEO and video content optimization for web and social media.
• Familiarity with audio editing software such as Adobe Audition is a plus.
• A portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding and creative video production is highly preferred.
