Mainframe Production Supporting Lead: L3 Support

Qualifications

• Strong experience in production/Application support (L3/L2) projects, following application
• development and application support best practices.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer in developing and supporting COBOL/Mainframe based applications of global Clients.
• Deep experience in code refactoring/optimization, reverse engineering, performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to create SOPs, document bottlenecks, process flows, architecture etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including timely communication with all the stakeholders - including Client management and engineering teams, Aurum teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Well experienced in Service-Now Incident, Requests management as well as code deployment, CI/CD processes using GitHub and Azure DevOps
• Experience in manipulating and processing large volumes of data using industry standard tools.
• Must be a team player with the ability to build trust and work with a global IT team for solving tough business problems using technology.
• Ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures and collaborate with any teams to resolve Production issues.
• Expertise in understanding and writing complex queries using DB2, SQL.
• Prior experience in application modernization and digital transformation initiatives
• Experience and interest in JAVA/Spring boot.
• Commitment to meeting tight Production turnaround SLAs.
• Should have a good understanding of business processes like Supply Chain, Finance, Order management, Accounts Receivables etc.
