Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Lead to focus on improving energy efficiency in the building sector, updating procurement and construction specifications, supporting the implementation of EcoNiwas Samhita, promoting passive cooling and thermal comfort, and assisting private real estate developers in adopting sustainable practices.
Responsibilities entail:
- Policy and Technical Advisory
- Stakeholder Engagement and Capacity Building
- Project Implementation and Coordination
- Research, Analysis, and Reporting
The candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in energy-efficient building design, implementation of building codes and standards, or related fields. Demonstrated expertise in engaging with government departments, working on policy development, and implementing building energy efficiency initiatives. Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English and fluency in Tamil. This is a full-time position, the person will need to work out of our Chennai or Auroville office.
