Description Assistant Manager Finance is responsible for maintaining control on companys financial and accounting procedures and policies, through which all activities related with financial management, budget, taxation, daily accounting work and internal and external auditing are conducted in conformity with government regulations as well as with companys expected practice.

Assistant Manager Finance, together with accounting staff, plays important role in conducting accounting control to ensure employeescompliance with companys financial and accounting procedures and government regulations.

Assist in the budget preparation process, conduct financial analysis and assist in leading the costs saving project.

Also assist the Director of Finance to work out company budget to guide all costs and expenses are spent under good control.

As well, conducts regular finance ratio analysis for management to understand company operation status from financial perspective.

The Assistant Manager Finance is also expected to present various financial trends and variances data provided, in a timely and accurately manner for management, showing performance of Actual to Budget and reasons for large variances, especially the unfavourable ones.

Job Details.

Role Specific Responsibilities.

Tax Compliance Management.

Support in Tax compliance management for Gujarat as well as Mumbai in GST.

Support in completing Tax compliance assessments for past years.

Sales tax & GST Assessment.

Income tax Assessment.

Transfer pricing Assessment.

Customs Assessment.

Segmental profit analysis.

Support in global transfer pricing management.

Support in Trade Finance Activities.

Product costing and margin workings.

Preparing Receivable tracking & following up with various Commercial team.

Collection of Letter of Credit & Documentation & Follow-up with Bank & Business team for closing the L/C.

Agents Commission statement working & reconciliation based on Customer's receivable.

Trade Payables Toll Manufacturer.

Cost reconciliation with Toll Manufacturer.

Track Trade Payables & Schedule payments.

Cash Flow Management.

Based on Receivable & Payables Support Cash flow management.

Assisting Finance Manager in all the Monthly Closing, MIS Reporting and other Audit & Assessment related to Finance Department.

Compliance:.

Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements.

Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly.

Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

Problem Solving and Innovation:.

Active participation in continuous improvement activities.

Participates in problem-solving.

Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business.

Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members.

Exercises autonomy and judgement subject to overall direction or guidance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:.

Chartered Accountant.

Through Knowledge of Accounting Principles.

Computer skills spreadsheet, word processing, email, etc.

4 to 5 yearsexperience in Accounting Field.

Experience of Handling Audit queries.

Able to work independently in their day to day functions.

Good Interpersonal skills.

Good Verbal & Written communication skills.

Ability to work within a multi-functional, global organizational structure and exhibits robust interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated and ability to work within a fast paced environment.

Critical thinking skills and analytical abilities which allow assessments of situations and opportunities.

Punctual and methodical in delivering the duties.

Confident and sincere while delivering duties.

Auditing and Analytical skill for verification of Invoices and proper accounting.

Ability to interact with outside agencies including Government authorities & various auditors while ensuring compliance with company policy.

Proficient in Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
