Aufait Technologies - Senior Django Developer - Python (4-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reliable web applications using the Django framework and Python.

- Design and implement robust database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning.

- Potentially lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability.

- Ensure data integrity and security.

- Perform database maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise-level applications.

- Understand and implement complex business logic and workflows.

- Integrate with various enterprise systems and APIs.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.

- Proactively identify and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 4+ years of professional experience developing web applications with the Django framework.

- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL database management and optimization.

- Strong understanding of Python programming principles and best practices.

- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.

- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

- Experience with Git version control.

- Experience with writing Unit tests.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience developing enterprise-level applications.

- Experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
