SAP Hana XSA Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Work extensively with the HANA database alongside the development team to build architectural models and integrate data with BW systems and third-party platforms using HANA XSC and XSA.
• Gather requirements, test solutions, and conduct performance analyses to ensure system optimization.
• Collaborate with offshore developers and communicate effectively with global stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Experience and Skills Required:

SAP HANA Expertise:

• Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing HANA database objects like tables, calculation views, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in XSA (HDI containers and GIT repositories) preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Data Integration (SDI) and real-time data replication within XSA (Tasks/Flowgraphs).

SAP BW Proficiency:

• Solid understanding of SAP BW data modeling concepts, including DataSources, InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DTPs, and InfoProviders.
• Experience in ECC data loading using the ODP framework and creating reports in Query Designer.

Analysis for Office (AFO):

• Experience in using AFO to create workbooks and execute Bex/HANA queries.

ETL Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools in BW and HANA (e.g., Virtual Tables and BW Process Chains).
