Job Opportunity: Production Planning Manager
Location: Mombasa, Kenya
We are looking for an experienced Production Planning Manager for one of our production units in Mombasa, Kenya. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze production costs and quantities in collaboration with the Industrial Engineering Department.
Control the factory's contribution margin by optimizing manpower and machinery.
Allocate production based on fabric types and complexity.
Monitor and maximize factory capacity utilization.
Supervise the flow of information and materials across departments.
Implement effective production and planning systems.
Manage order booking, planning, scheduling, and distribution processes.
Ensure strict adherence to timelines and agreements with sourcing departments.
Oversee procurement plans for fabrics and trims to avoid delays.
Coordinate process plans for embroidery, printing, and washing.
Monitor shipping schedules and maintain accurate records of quantities and values for exports.

Qualifications:
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in similar role in reputable garment manufacturing and exporting units having a minimum 1000 Sewing machines capacity.
Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field.
Strong English communication skills and Computer savvy especially in ERP systems.
