Atlassians mission is to be cloud-ready for every customer. As part of that vision, the Cloud Transition team will focus on enabling organizations to align their teams to new systems of work. Customers need to be able to switch over from legacy site architectures to the new Atlassian operating system with speed and confidence.

The Cloud Transition organization is chartered to strengthen customer trust through enterprise-grade shared capabilities and delightful experiences.

As part of our cloud strategy, we are on a mission to get our SaaS offerings to be enterprise ready and widely adopted by enterprise customers. Our company goal of 100 million MAU requires mass adoption of our products by knowledge workers, which means building our mass adoption of our products by enterprises. Over the last three years, the Cloud Transition team has laid the foundation to support enterprise customers with new offerings. In the next three years, we want to accelerate that adoption further to make our cloud-ready for every customer a reality.

The Cloud Transitions Capabilities pillar within Cloud Transition organization primarily provides core features and platform capabilities on cloud at enterprise standards. These encompass capabilities like Backup-Restore, Data portability (large scale data movement within an enterprise to support various compliance/change requirements) , Wall-to-wall expansion from competitors , and Sandbox (trusted change).

With this program, we are trying to unify the platform and experience for the customers, to guide them through the journey of discovering what tools to use and when. It also encompasses providing centralized cloud capabilities platforms, which all of the Atlassian products can facilitate from.

You will work closely with the Cloud Transition Capabilities leadership team to define and execute the vision and strategy for the group. Youll also work closely with other senior architects, product and engineering management leaders, and principal engineers to influence the direction of the product and platform evolution. Your greatest responsibility will be inspiring the other engineers in your org - coaching and supporting them in their professional development, unlocking their potential, and challenging them to step outside their comfort zone to grow and excel. As a hands-on engineering leader, you will also contribute to the engineering and operational practices and bring in a continuous improvement mindset.
