Job Description
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation in Azure.
- Collaborate with Project Team to understand data needs and design effective data workflows.
- Create and maintain data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Utilizing Azure Data Factory, create and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations.
- Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures will ensure the quality, integrity, and dependability of the data.
- Improve the scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of data pipelines.
- Having hands on experience in Azure Data bricks.
- Hands on with Python.
- Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
- Develop complex SQL queries for small to large sets of data, lead query optimization efforts.
- Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) considering database security.
- Analyse and develop strategies and approach to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations.
- Knowledge on LogicApp and PowerBI is added advantage.
- Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments.
- Support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans.
- Administer all requirements and design various functional specifications for data.
- Evaluate all codes and ensure the quality of all project deliverables.
- Managing resources for the team.
- Good team player.
- Able to work on a project on Individual contributor role.
- Good communication skills.
- Excited to explore other data structure and systems.
