Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop well-researched content aligned with the target market and product to promote academic courses. This includes creating content for websites, marketing copy, banners, and other promotional materials.
- Create content for content marketing strategies, such as blogs and articles, to drive engagement and build awareness of the product.
- Design marketing email campaign content aimed at maximizing conversions, including user logins, applications, and payments, tailored to the specific audience.
- Understand product positioning for different markets and products, and collaborate with the marketing team to track and analyze the performance of the content to enhance strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including academics, marketing, and design departments to develop impactful content and monitor its effectiveness
Skills and Qualifications required:
- Ability to write clearly, concisely, and in an engaging manner for different formats (blogs, whitepapers, video scripts, social media, etc.).
- Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Understanding of digital marketing principles, including keywords, backlinks, and meta descriptions.
- Ability to conduct thorough research on educational topics and trends
- Familiarity with Technical Writing
- A bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience in content writing, preferably in the education or EdTech sector.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and work efficiently
- Willingness to work with educators, designers, developers, and marketing teams in a collaborative environment.
