Associate - Purchase

Aster Pharmacy (India) is looking for Associate - Purchase to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.Assist with the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining price quotations, and negotiating terms and agreements to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads, project managers, and budget owners, to understand procurement requirements and priorities.Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines.Maintain vendor relationships, communicate effectively with suppliers, and address inquiries, issues, and concerns related to product quality, delivery schedules, and pricing discrepancies.Monitor inventory levels, track purchase orders, and update inventory records to ensure adequate stock levels, minimize stockouts, and optimize inventory turnover rates.Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to arrange for timely delivery, receipt, and inspection of purchased goods, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.Evaluate supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and assess vendor capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and strategic partnerships.Assist in the implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline purchasing processes, enhance transparency, and mitigate procurement risks.Generate reports, analyze procurement data, and provide insights and recommendations to management on purchasing trends, supplier performance metrics, and cost-saving opportunities.
