Medical Decision-Making : Making informed and timely medical decisions, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Advanced Procedures : Performing and overseeing advanced medical procedures and interventions, such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, central line placement, and hemodynamic monitoring. Diagnosis and Treatment : Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing medical conditions, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Patient Monitoring : Monitoring patient conditions, vital signs, lab results, and response to treatment, and adjusting interventions as necessary. Leadership and Supervision : Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the MICU team, which may include physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff.
