Job Description
- Patient Care:Provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, addressing a wide range of pediatric health concerns
- Clinical Rotations:Rotate through various clinical settings, including general pediatric wards, neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), outpatient clinics, and pediatric subspecialties
- Neonatal Care:Participate in the care of newborns, especially those born prematurely or with medical conditions requiring neonatal intensive care
- Well-Child Visits:Conduct routine well-child visits, vaccinations, and developmental assessments to monitor the growth and health of pediatric patients
- Pediatric Procedures:Perform various pediatric procedures, such as lumbar punctures, intubations, and venipunctures, under supervision
- Emergency Care:Respond to pediatric emergencies, including acute illnesses, injuries, and resuscitation efforts
- Education and Conferences:Attend educational conferences, grand rounds, and participate in academic activities to stay updated on the latest medical research and advancements in pediatrics and neonatology
