Resident - Haemato Oncology

Aster Medcity is looking for Resident - Haemato Oncology to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.Provide specialized clinical care to patients in the Haemato-Oncology department, including the assessment, diagnosis, and management of hematological malignancies and related conditions.Conduct detailed patient evaluations, analyze clinical data, and collaborate with senior consultants to devise effective treatment plans.Monitor and manage the side effects of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other hematologic treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure patient safety and comfort.Participate actively in the management of hematopoietic stem cell transplants, including pre- and post-transplant care.Assist in the administration of blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, and other supportive care measures, ensuring meticulous monitoring of patient vitals and response.Stay updated with emerging treatments and research developments in Haemato-Oncology and incorporate best practices in patient care.Provide compassionate and clear communication to patients and their families, offering guidance on treatment options, side effects, and prognosis.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, laboratory staff, and pharmacists, to provide holistic care for patients.Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, documenting all aspects of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.Participate in departmental rounds, case discussions, and educational activities to continuously enhance knowledge and clinical skills in Haemato-Oncology.Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control measures, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.Engage in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives within the department to support the advancement of Haemato-Oncology care.
