• Assessment of patients in Endoscopy unit including obtaining patient history.
• Assess nature and extent of illness to establish and prioritize medical procedures.
• Observe, record, and report to physician the patient's condition, the treatment provided, and reactions to drugs and treatment.
• Administer prescribed drugs, orally or by injection, and perform intravenous procedures under a physician's direction.

Administering pain relief and follow pain management techniques.

Checking the efficiency of equipment to maintain a state of operational readiness.

• Assist for Endoscopy procedures, physician assistance, information gathering, sample collection, patient education, and patient follow-up.
• Assist for the various procedures, ensuring patient safety.
• Coordinate work with other medical team members when required.
• To plan & organize the instruments and consumables required for various surgeries.
• To maintain strict aseptic technique during the procedures.
• To ensure all the registers are maintained in the ward.
• To handle all the medical emergencies successfully.
• To strictly adhere to Sedation policy in the hospital.
• To closely monitor the patient during and post procedure.
• Provides educational information to patients, family, etc. pertaining to Endoscopy. Answers inquiries and provides advice as needed.
• To participate in all unit In-service education.
• To participate in patient and family education. nsibilities

• Multitasking abilities

• Conceptual and Analytical skills.
• Computer literacy and hands on PC.
• 0-2 yrs in Endoscopy unit.
