Role Overview:
- This role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and assessing candidates for non-tech roles within the organization, particularly in departments like Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Sales, and others.
- The Assistant Manager will be actively involved in the full recruitment life cycle, from identifying talent to closing hires.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in recruiting for non-technical roles and will excel at collaborating with internal teams to meet organizational staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Outreach:
- Utilize various sourcing channels (job boards, social media, networking, and referrals) to identify suitable non-tech candidates across functions such as Finance, Marketing, HR, and Sales.
- Conduct outreach to potential candidates and effectively communicate Simplilearn's culture, values, and opportunities.
Candidate Screening:
- Review applications and resumes to determine candidates' qualifications and alignment with specific non-tech roles.
- Conduct phone screenings to assess skills, experience, and overall fit for roles in non-tech functions.
Interviewing and Evaluation:
- Coordinate and conduct interviews (both in-person and virtual) with shortlisted candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and functional heads across departments (Finance, Marketing, HR, Sales, etc.) to evaluate candidates and support decision-making.
Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide timely feedback to candidates, maintaining strong communication at every stage.
Market Research:
- Stay informed on industry trends, non-tech role-specific compensation benchmarks, and best practices to keep Simplilearn competitive in attracting high-quality candidates.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's / master's ndegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in non-tech recruitment, particularly in areas such as Finance, Marketing, HR, or Sales.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for finding, engaging with, and recruiting top talent in non-technical fields.
- Should be open for tech hiring as a learning opportunity.
