Assistant Manager - Procurement

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for buying sheet metal parts, welded & surface coated parts

2. Handling of vendor complaints along with Quality

3. New parts development at supplier end & related activities

4. To ensure that supplied parts are defect free for suppling to internal & external customers.

5. To maintain all kinds of documentation related to procurement & ISO 9001

6. Supplier rejection reduction & monitoring

7. Activities pertaining to suppliers PPAP & APQP in case of requirement

8. Supplier process audit & documentation related to that along with Quality

9. To take care of material purchase against generated indent for customer projects

10. To take care of materials and services required for production and maintenance team

11. Responsible for capex machine purchase as and when required

4. Domain knowledge (Procurement, ISO)

5. Material planning & MRP

6. Negotiation skill

7. Vendor as well as time Management

8. ERP Knowledge

9. Analytical Skills

10. Material planning and inventory management

11. Risk Management

12. Advance Excel, word and PPT
