Assistant Manager - Mechanical

Roles & Responsibilities

• Must have worked in chemical industries as a maintenance engineer
• Responsible for routine and breakdown maintenance for MPP1 plants
• Allocate work to technicians/contractors and coordinate with production and planning
• Prepare work permits, assign tasks, and execute maintenance activities
• Fill and record data in documentation, prepare work activities with timelines, and compile daily reports
• Conduct breakdown maintenance work, implement process improvements, and prepare procurement material lists
• Review drawings, conduct equipment testing, allocate materials, and provide training
• Analyze budget vs. actual costs and manage non-moving items in inventory

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-15 years of experience in a similar role within the Chemical industry.
• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance principles, including breakdown maintenance, preventative maintenance, reactors, heat exchangers, plant maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
