Role & responsibilities

Job Summary: The Internal Auditor will lead and oversee internal audit activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, assess risk management practices, and enhance the effectiveness of internal controls. This role involves collaborating with various departments, providing strategic insights, and ensuring the organizations financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities: Audit Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans aligned with organizational goals and risk assessments.

• Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and prioritize risks through continuous monitoring and analysis of business processes.
• Audit Execution: Lead audit engagements from planning through fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up, ensuring adherence to established timelines and objectives.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, risk exposure, and recommendations for improvement; present findings to senior management and the audit committee.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with departments to develop action plans based on audit findings, driving process improvements and control enhancements.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies; conduct follow-up audits to assess the effectiveness of implemented changes.
• Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff regarding internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Inter - CA or CMA or certification preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in internal audit and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, frameworks (such as CISA / DISA), or other compliance regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills: Experience in Manufacturing Space.

• Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions: This position may require occasional travel and flexibility in hours to meet audit deadlines.
