ESG Manager / AM

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced ESG Manager to lead and implement our ESG initiatives, ensuring they align with the companys vision and investor requirements. The role involves creating and integrating sustainable strategies, identifying key ESG performance indicators, and driving adherence to ESG standards across our operations. This role will champion the development of a responsible business culture, engage with internal teams, and communicate ESG achievements to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Framework Development
• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and frameworks that advance the company's ESG goals and meet investor expectations.
• Identify sustainability risks, opportunities, and performance indicators relevant to the business.
2. Trend & Regulatory Monitoring
• Stay informed of emerging ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Ensure alignment with regulations and standards, reporting on ESG performance in line with requirements such as SEBI BRSR.
3. Environment Social Management Systems (ESMS)
• Oversee the implementation of ESMS across the organization, collaborating with various functions to support ESG integration.
4. Data Management & Reporting
• Collect, analyze, and report on ESG data, covering environmental, social, governance, and grievance metrics.
• Enhance ESG reporting and disclosures in alignment with investor and regulatory expectations.
5. Cross-Functional ESG Integration
• Work with business functions, including human resources, finance, supply chain, and operations, to embed ESG practices.
6. Stakeholder Communication
• Communicate sustainability initiatives and progress to stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and communities.
7. Training & Capability Building
• Lead or coordinate training programs for employees to strengthen their understanding and execution of ESMS.
8. Program Development
• Develop and manage programs focused on ESG priorities, such as safety, diversity, human rights, and decarbonization.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in ESG management, sustainability, or a related field, ideally within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of ESG trends, reporting frameworks, and regulations.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing ESMS.
• Excellent data analysis, reporting, and project management skills.
• Ability to engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Passionate about sustainability and driving responsible business practices.
