Qualifications & experience

(i) Graduate in Civil Engineering & Post-Graduate in Environmental Engineering

(ii) Experience in planning, design and coordination for infrastructure projects including water sector for about 10 - 12 years.

Job description

(i) Reporting to Project Head/PM – Water & Infrastructure BU.

(iii) Collect field data, undertake survey, prepare of feasibility report, detailed project report (DPR) for water supply, wastewater, sanitation, & stormwater drainage projects.

(iv) Planning, hydraulic design and review of raw water intake, sedimentation tank, gravity main, rising main and distribution network both manually and using Water Gems or EPANET

(v) Planning, hydraulic design and review of overhead service reservoir, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants.

(vi) Working experience in solid waste management may be considered as added advantage.

(vii) Prepare/check design basis, and ensure design and drawings are prepared as per engineering parameters.

(viii)Works towards value engineering to ensure cost within the budget to the extent possible.

(ix) Study GAD, detailed drawings, designs and recommend client observation for modification and final approval.

(x) Check data sheet, specification to ensure they are in conformity with client requirement.

(xi) Attend client meeting with Senior Technical Expert to discuss on technical matter of the project.

(xii) Ensure documentation of design & project related submittal by contractors and other communications made for client coordination.

(xiii)Coordinates with client for all design related issues and updates clients time to time.

(xiv)Brings issues to the knowledge of Project Head and PM Team for amicable settlement.
