Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and visually appealing websites.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
- Develop and integrate custom WordPress themes, plugins, and other content management systems (CMS).
- Collaborate with designers to convert UI/UX wireframes into fully functional web pages.
- Implement SEO best practices and optimize websites for performance, speed, and security.
- Ensure websites are compatible across various browsers and devices.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance on existing websites.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical advice, and develop solutions that meet business needs.
- Stay updated on emerging web development trends, tools, and technologies.
Skills
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in web development or a similar role.
- Proficiency in technologies: PHP/jQuery/HTML/CSS level/MySQL/JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular).
- Content Management Systems / Website Builders like WordPress is a must to have
- Understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on user experience and accessibility.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
Experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience
Qualification
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master s degree or MBA is a plus.
