Job Description
- We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to be an integral member of the Data Engineering team. We work closely to solve challenging problems that have direct impact on our business and trading.
- In this role, you will contribute to the design, build and growth of our data platform. You will have the opportunity to develop highly scalable and performant solutions, while partnering with various stakeholders within QRT, including Engineering and Research/Execution teams.
- Prior experience with financial data is beneficial but not necessary; we welcome talented developers without a background in financial services and are happy to provide training and guidance.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop scalable performant services using best practices.
- Write automated tests, maintain, and scale delivery/integration pipelines.
- Develop reusable libraries for the data engineering team.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to propose and develop features.
- Debugging and optimizing performance of data queries and storage.
